Pole rings and linear scales are necessary in order to complete an active magnetic measurement system in combination with the sensors. "Active" magnetic measurement systems are systems whose measurement scales are inherently magnetic (as opposed to tooth sensor systems in which a soft magnetic tooth structure is used as a measurement scale). There are different kinds of magnetic material and ways to process them into a magnetic ring or a linear scale. We offer different material forms of rings and linear scales to enable the ideal range for the application. different codes can be magnetically recorded on the rings and scales. It therefore possible to magnetize a simple incremental magnetization with alternating north and south poles or even complex vernier or pseudo-random coding. We use our patented pulse magnetization process to magnetize the measurement scales, allowing us to generate a high magnetization with a high field strength and thus ensure secure magnetization in the material.
